Ryoma Takebayashi, after living an unfortunate life, passed away at the age of 39 while sleeping. Unfortunately, three gods give him the opportunity to reincarnate in a magical world where he has only one mission: to be himself and enjoy life. They grant Ryoma abilities such as a powerful body and mastery over all elements, and promise to take care of him. His new life as a young child begins when he is transferred to a forest. Three years pass. Ryoma, by spending most of his time researching Slimes, succeeds in evolving special types of them and, while expanding his magical abilities, also creates an army of Slimes. Although this boy is satisfied with his solitary life in his cave-like home, he somehow yearns for social life. However, after healing an injured member of a traveling group who was from a duke's family, Ryoma is convinced to leave the forest with them and his Slime army. A completely new world awaits him, where his skills as a magical user and Slime trainer will be admired.
